The platform facilitates connections among handicrafts artisans, suppliers, and buyers. The expressions “You,” “Your,” or “User(s)” refer to any person who accesses or uses the Web Site for any purpose, including browsing, viewing member profiles (e.g., idhiyaan.org/member_name), or contacting members via provided details (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram).
Intermediary Status and Safe Harbour Disclaimer: Idhiyaan Handicrafts Private Limited ("Idhiyaan") operates as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act") and claims safe harbour protection under Section 79 of the IT Act and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 ("IT Rules 2021"). Idhiyaan is a passive host of third-party content, including member profiles hosted at idhiyaan.org/member_name, which are published based solely on information provided by members without verification by Idhiyaan. Idhiyaan does not endorse, verify, or assume liability for any content, claims, products, services, or transactions arising from member profiles or interactions facilitated through the Web Site, including contacts made via WhatsApp, Instagram, or other provided details. Users engage with members at their sole risk, and Idhiyaan disclaims all liability for such interactions or transactions under applicable Indian laws.
By accessing or using the Web Site, including browsing member profiles or contacting members, You undertake and agree that You have fully read, understood, and accepted this Agreement. Idhiyaan is not a party to any negotiations, communications, or agreements (including for the sale or supply of goods or services) concluded between User(s) and members.
Idhiyaan does not control and is not liable for or responsible for the quality, safety, genuineness, lawfulness, or availability of products or services offered by members, nor for the ability of members to complete a sale or User(s) to complete a purchase. Member profiles are based solely on information provided by members, and Idhiyaan does not verify their credentials, authenticity, or claims. User(s) contacting members via WhatsApp, Instagram, or other provided details do so at their own risk, and Idhiyaan is not responsible for any outcomes, disputes, or transactions arising from such interactions. This Agreement does not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, or other business relationship between Idhiyaan and any User(s) or members. As an intermediary under Indian laws, Idhiyaan is not liable for User-generated or member-provided content or any transactions facilitated through the Web Site.
